The one area you don\u2019t want to compromise on is breakfast \u2013 a nutritious breakfast is essential for growing bodies and developing minds. These quick and easy recipes and ideas will take the stress out of the morning rush and ensure your toddler has all the goodness they need to enjoy their busy day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 OVERNIGHT OATS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These little bowls of goodness are very easy to make. All you need to do is take a couple of minutes to prep them the night before, then leave them in the fridge overnight. Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 x 110ml Squish 100% Summer Berries Puree<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bd cup oats <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 cup plain yoghurt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 tsp chia seeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc tsp vanilla essence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

pinch cinnamon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combine all ingredients and stir gently. Spoon into small pots or jars then leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight. You can top with fresh fruit, or simply serve as is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GRANOLA, YOGHURT AND FRUIT POTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Granola is a great way to start the day, and your little ones are sure to enjoy it. Set aside time on the weekend to prep a batch of granola, then you\u2019ll have it on hand throughout the week for a quick, easy, healthy, and delicious breakfast packed full of nuts, fruits and seeds.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc cup hazelnuts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc cup almonds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 cup oats<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc cup sunflower seeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc cup sesame seeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30 ml sunflower oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30 ml honey<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc cup raisins<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bc cup dried cranberries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 cup plain yoghurt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 x 110 ml Squish 100% Fruit Medley Yoghurt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finely chop the nuts, or blitz in a food processor. Mix together the oats, seeds, and chopped nuts. In a small saucepan gently heat the oil and honey to melt. Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spread the granola out on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 140\u00b0C for 30 minutes, tossing often, or until crisp and golden. Leave to cool then stir in the raisins and cranberries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swirl the Squish 100% Fruit Medley Yoghurt <\/strong>into the plain yoghurt. Top with granola and serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 SQUISH BREAKFAST BARS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

110 ml Squish 100% Pear + Sweet Potato <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 cups oats<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bd tsp salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

125 ml butter, melted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 eggs, beaten<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the oats, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon together in a large bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mix the Squish 100% Pear + Sweet Potato <\/strong>with the butter and the eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the Squish Puree<\/strong> mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well blended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spoon the mix onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten with the back of a spoon. Bake in an oven that has been preheated to 180\u00b0C for 25 minutes or until firm to the touch. Leave to cool slightly then cut into fingers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
