Desserts don\u2019t have to be packed full of artificial sugars. Instead, try these fruity treats that are guaranteed to make everyone smile.<\/p>\r\n
BERRY SWIRL ICE CREAM<\/b><\/p>\r\n
This homemade ice cream contains no artificial sugars and is so easy to make using just three ingredients, including Squish 100% Summer Berries Puree<\/b>. Squish 100% Fruit Purees<\/b> are made using only the highest quality fruit and contain no bulking agents. They are free of colourants, flavourants and preservatives, and have no added sugars or starch, making them the smart pantry essential for parents of babies and toddlers.<\/p>\r\n
Ingredients<\/b>
2 bananas, sliced and frozen
1 x 110 ml Squish 100% Summer Berries Puree<\/b>, divided
2 cups plain yoghurt<\/p>\r\n
Method<\/b>
Place the frozen bananas, \u00be pouch of Squish 100% Summer Berries Puree<\/b> and yoghurt into a food processor \u2013 or use a stick blender. Blend until smooth and thick. Spoon into a freezer-safe dish. Swirl the remaining puree into the mixture and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for 3 \u2013 4 hours before serving.<\/p>\r\n
TIP:<\/b> Serve with chopped fresh berries and pour over more 100% Summer Berries Puree.<\/b><\/p>\r\n
\u2022 BANANA SUSHI<\/b><\/p>\r\n
These fruit and nut spread sushi slices can be made in less than three minutes, and are fun to eat and packed full of fruity goodness. You can use any Squish 100% Fruit Puree<\/b> flavour \u2013 our favourites are Fruit Salad, Summer Berries, <\/b>or Pear<\/b>. It\u2019s also a great way to use up any leftover Squish<\/b> pouches you might have in your fridge. Squish 100% Fruit and Veg Puree<\/b> pouches come with a resealable screw-top lid, so you can just use what you need, then save the rest for later.<\/p>\r\n
Ingredients<\/b>
1 x 110ml Squish 100% Fruit Puree <\/b>of your choice
4 slices brown bread, crusts removed and rolled flat
1 Tbsp nut butter or spread
4 small bananas<\/p>\r\n
Method<\/b>
Mix 110ml Squish 100% Fruit Puree<\/b> and nut butter to form a smooth paste. Spread onto flattened bread. Place peeled banana on edge of bread. Roll and secure opposite end with a dollop of nut butter. Slice to create \u201csushi\u201d circles and serve.<\/p>\r\n
TIP:<\/b> Toast cut off crusts and offer as a snack with Squish 100% Fruit Puree<\/b> as a dipping sauce.<\/p>\r\n
\u2022 SMOOTHIE LOLLIES <\/b><\/p>\r\n
Chia seeds add some fibre to these frozen fruity treats. Make a batch and keep them in the freezer \u2013 they\u2019re great for dessert and as a playdate snack on hot afternoons.<\/p>\r\n
Ingredients<\/b>
1 x 110ml Squish 100% Yogi Fruit Medley + Yoghurt<\/b>
5 Tbsp fresh mixed berries, mashed
3 tsp chia seeds<\/p>\r\n
Method<\/b>
Mash fresh berries and spoon into the bottom of 6 lolly moulds. Keep some aside. Mix chia seeds into Squish 100% Yogi Fruit Medley + Yoghurt<\/b>. Spoon into moulds. Top with reserved mashed berries. Freeze overnight.<\/p>\r\n
